Business Development Manager – Fire & Security
Location: Midlands & South | Salary: £50-55k

Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK fire and security sector. This field-based role focuses on B2B sales, developing new client relationships, and expanding existing accounts in commercial and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and secure new B2B opportunities.

* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award.

* Build long-term relationships with decision-makers including facilities managers, consultants, and contractors.

* Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses.

* Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

* Ensure compliance with UK fire and security standards.

Requirements:

* Proven B2B sales experience in the UK fire and security industry.

* Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.

* Track record in new business development and account growth.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

* Experience with FM companies, consultants, or main contractors.

* Knowledge of BS 5839, BS 5266, NSI, SSAIB, BAFE standards.

* Experience selling service and maintenance contracts.
