To support this strategic progression, they are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to spearhead business development efforts within the Electric Utilities Sector. This role is pivotal in building and managing a robust client portfolio aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at securing new opportunities within the Electric Utilities Sector.\n\n * \n\n Take full ownership of achieving sales targets and key performance metrics.\n\n * \n\n Manage client relationships in line with company strategy, policies, and corporate procedures.\n\n * \n\n Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations.\n\n * \n\n Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations both internally and externally.\n\n * \n\n Produce accurate weekly progress reports for internal stakeholders.\n\n * \n\n Capture and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to identify pain points and support solution development.\n\n * \n\n Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client behaviour to ensure the company’s commercial strategy remains competitive and relevant.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\n * \n\n Proven entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building successful initiatives from the ground up.\n\n * \n\n Established network and relationships within the Electric Utilities Sector (essential).\n\n * \n\n Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client management within the Electric Utilities Sector.\n\n * \n\n Strong technical and engineering knowledge relevant to the sector.\n\n * \n\n In-depth experience with estimating, PQQ completion, and bid management processes.\n\n * \n\n Solid understanding of contractual requirements and the ability to support commercial negotiations.\n\n * \n\n Demonstrated capability in conducting preliminary activities with prospective clients, leading sales negotiations, and formulating proposals, estimates, and contracts.\n\n * \n\n Strong presentation skills with experience delivering to both client and executive-level audiences.\n\n * \n\n Prior experience managing client PQQ and tender processes.\n\n * \n\n Highly proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.\n\n * \n\n Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\n\nQualifications\n\n * \n\n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
