Known for delivering some of the capital's most iconic and technically challenging projects, the business continues to experience strong growth and is now seeking a Strategic Relationship Builder to join its expanding team.\n\nOperating from modern offices in Chelmsford and London, the company employs around 60 staff and has a group turnover exceeding £25 million. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that thrives on creativity, client relationships, and delivering exceptional results.\n\nBusiness Development Manager Salary & Benefits\n\nSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)\n25 days holiday + Bank Holidays\nCompany-wide bonus scheme\nPrivate healthcare cash plan\nPension scheme\nEV car scheme\nCompany events and incentives\nHybrid working across London and Chelmsford\nClear long-term progression opportunities within a market-leading façade business \n\nBusiness Development Manager Job Overview\n\nIdentify, develop and pursue new business opportunities across the London construction and façade markets.\nBuild and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients, architects, main contractors, and consultants.\nLead face-to-face sales activity, executing pitches and presentations to secure new work.\nStrategically plan business development initiatives to align with company growth objectives.\nQualify and prioritise opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring it remains the 'single source of truth'.\nManage multiple accounts and maintain pipeline momentum from initial contact through to deal closure.\nCollaborate closely with internal design, pre-construction and delivery teams to support client needs.\nRepresent the business across key industry events and networking forums, spending 2-3 days per week in London meeting key decision-makers.
