Business Development Manager – Facilities Tech SaaS - Role Overview
This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the CEO, offering a unique opportunity to shape the commercial strategy of a growing tech business. You’ll take full ownership of the sales process, from identifying and engaging new prospects to closing deals. The role is suited to someone hands-on, entrepreneurial, and excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.
Business Development Manager – Facilities Tech SaaS - Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition through a full 360 sales cycle
- Identify and engage key decision-makers in target verticals such as property managers, facilities teams within multi-site restaurant groups, and trade service firms (e.g. plumbing, HVAC)
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline through multichannel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, events, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to refine targeting, messaging, and go-to-market plans
- Provide customer feedback to help shape the product roadmap and improve market fit
Business Development Manager – Facilities Tech SaaS - Ideal Candidate
- Strong B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within PropTech, FMTech, or a related vertical
- Proven ability to sell into mid-sized property firms, facilities departments, and service contractors
- Confident managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to close
- Experienced in using a multichannel approach to pipeline development
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
