We’re Hiring – Business Development Manager / Estimator (Mechanical & Electrical)ORB Mechanical & Electrical is growing, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager / Estimator to join our team.Based in Bristol, ORB delivers full-service mechanical and electrical packages across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout the UK. We work closely with developers, main contractors, and investors to deliver high-quality M&E solutions from design through to completion.As our pipeline continues to expand, we’re looking for someone who can help drive new opportunities while also managing the tender process from first conversation to contract award.The RoleThis is a hybrid role combining business development and estimating, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships but also understands the commercial and technical side of M&E projects.Responsibilities will include:Developing new relationships with developers, contractors, and consultantsAttending networking events and industry functionsEntertaining and building long-term relationships with clientsWorking on both self-generated leads and opportunities provided by the companyManaging the full tender process for M&E packagesPricing and preparing estimates and submissionsNegotiating and securing projectsWho We’re Looking ForExperience in Mechanical & Electrical estimating or commercial rolesStrong industry relationships (preferred but not essential)Someone confident representing the business in front of clientsCommercially minded with the ability to convert conversations into contractsSelf-motivated and proactive in generating opportunitiesThis role could be full-time or, for the right candidate, part-time, offering flexibility depending on experience and the value they bring to the business.This is a great opportunity to join a growing M&E contractor with strong project pipelines and the ability to shape your own opportunities within the business.📍 Location: Bristol / South West (with flexibility)📩 Interested or know someone who might be?Send me a message directly or email sam@orbelectrical.co.uk providing a copy of your CV #J-18808-Ljbffr
