We are looking for a Business Development Consultant to grow occupancy and partnerships within a specialist mental health setting.

You must have a strong background in mental health services and understand how to work with local authorities.

Package & Benefits £250-350 per day, DEO. For 9-12 months Opportunity to directly influence occupancy and service growth. Flexible, consultancy-based engagement.

About the Company This is a specialist mental health care provider focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The service works closely with local authorities and healthcare partners, with a strong emphasis on outcomes, recovery, and sustainable placements.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and referral partners. Drive occupancy through effective placement sourcing and conversion strategies. Represent the service professionally, promoting clinical strengths and outcomes. Monitor referral pipelines and provide insight to improve conversion and growth.

About You Extensive experience in mental health care homes or hospitals within a business development or referrals role. Proven experience working with local authorities and securing placements. Track record of driving occupancy and developing referral networks in CQC-regulated services.
