Description
To project manage and co-ordinate the delivery of core business development activities daily.
To provide high-quality service experience for internal clients and third parties while adhering to KR brand guidelines and business development best practice. To drive improvement in the usage of key marketing and business development systems and toolkits to develop great client care and generate new business.
About the role
- Works in close collaboration as part of a small multi-location BD, Marketing, Digital, and Data and Team, delivering end to end client BD lifecycle support across the firm
- Regular collaboration with Partners and fee earners on all operational and BD matters
- Various internal and external contacts as required in respect of specific BD projects
- Liaison and management of external service providers, third-party partners and intermediaries
- Contact with external organisations such as PSMG, CIM, and Kreston International firms
- Active involvement in employee inductions
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Sectors / service line support
- Plan and execute BDM tactics for the delivery of sector / service line
- Report on success of activities and information share to wider team
- Support Manager team on other sector and service lines to deliver tactics in plans
Targeting
- Project manage lead generation activities
- Gather and analyse market research
- Identify services, products, and cross selling opportunities to offer to prospects and shares suggestions with others
Event support
- Plan, organise, coordinate communications and implementation of specific events and webinars
- Liaise with external suppliers (catering / venues / speakers etc)
- Liaise with speakers and manage internal communications
- Copywrite and create event communications and collateral including invitations, emails, adverts and website content
Comms planning
- Work with PR agency to lead comms meetings to ensure content is relevant to our audience
- Work with technical and digital teams to ensure content is produced on time
Email marketing
- Develop and implement email marketing campaigns in line with the marketing and BD strategy and brand guidelines
- Coordinate planning meetings with editorial teams
- Research topical and relevant content ideas
- Review and proofread content
- Format email newsletters and be responsible for templates
- Analyse email marketing performance
- Deliver sector / service email marketing newsletters
- Work with fee earners to follow up on opportunities from leads
Adverts and sponsorships
- Work closely with Marketing Assistant and design agency to coordinate, design and create adverts
- Organise specific sponsorships
Literature and publications
- Prepare copy and design, working with BD and Marketing team members and/or design agency
- Design of presentations and internal online content
Sales
- Provide support to the Business Development Director and Managers, Office Sales Partners and relevant Service / Sector Heads
- Update and manage the enquiries database
- Maintenance of proposal tool kit and testimonials database Lead contact for specific proposals, tender documents and pitches
BD support services
- Coordinate with external agencies / suppliers as required
- Share information with the full marketing/BD team
- Collate client listening data
- Co-ordinate opportunity follow up and pipeline development
- Support fee earners to deliver their BD plan objectives and targeting
BD activity measurement
- Database management and reporting
- Periodic report co-ordination
External profile
- Attend industry and external functions
- Track and follow up for International and Intermediary referrals and activities
