JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager, Product - Customer, leads the roadmap definition, development and ongoing management of Customer and Customer Data platforms and tools within the Domain, bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements. You will be responsible for defining and delivering business capability to realise business value, owning the roadmap and working closely with the development teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Customer solutions. The role works in partnership with business experts and technology teams to identify & implement solutions to meet the needs of our evolving business. You will lead a team of business analysts and work in close partnership with solution architects, project management and development teams as well as the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand Burberry's strategic objectives and their alignment to business capability maturity within your domain
Delivery of products to meet strategic objectives within defined budget
Deeply analyse end user needs, business capability impact and develop business cases to address them with measurable impact to drive capability maturity
Develop a comprehensive product roadmap to deliver business goals with defined KPI's achieving one or more of revenue growth, operational cost reduction or legislative compliance balancing new capability delivery with ongoing platform evolution
Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products
Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
Own the overall relationship with vendors within their domain incl BAU budgets, product roadmaps and innovation
Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Work cross-functionally and with the architecture and development teams to bring and integrated product offering to end users
Build and manage a backlog of user stories/requirements and prioritise for delivery
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment using Minimal Viable Product delivery, and rapid prototyping
Design experiments, analyse patterns and trends, and optimize existing products
Strong analytical background, data driven reasoning, and ability to understand key performance drivers
Identify new opportunities and their applicability to Burberry to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Understanding of the most recent trends across Customer technology within Retail

Must have excellent written and communication skills and be detail oriented
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyse complex requirements, processes and systems to put solutions in place
Proven experience in product management or senior business analysis, ideally with a focus on Customer platforms
Ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace
Experience working with architecture, design, engineering teams, vendors, and offshore development to deliver end to end products
Experience managing small to medium sized teams
Experience in the Fashion/Retail industry and strong business understanding of the Customer domain
