They are seeking a practical, hands-on Buildings Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical capability, and a strong background in joinery, to support the ongoing upkeep and improvement of their site.This role focuses on minor works, reactive maintenance, and planned improvements, ensuring buildings, fixtures, and facilities are maintained to a high standard.Key Responsibilities – Buildings Maintenance Engineer Carry out general building maintenance across the site, with a strong emphasis on joinery and carpentry worksUndertake minor electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks (within competency and certification limits)Repair, modify, and install: Doors, frames, windows, flooring, partitions, and furnitureFixtures, fittings, and building fabric Support minor refurbishment and improvement projectsRespond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building systems and assetsLiaise with contractors where specialist works are requiredMaintain accurate records of completed works and materials usedEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures Skills & Experience – Buildings Maintenance Engineer Proven experience in a multi-skilled building maintenance roleStrong joinery / carpentry background (essential)Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenanceAbility to carry out minor electrical works safely and competentlyPractical, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding skillsExperience working within industrial or manufacturing environments (desirable)Ability to work independently and manage a varied workloadTPBN1_UKTJ
