Are you a qualified Building Surveyor looking to make a real difference within a close-knit housing organisation? Were working with a small, community-focused housing provider seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to support their day-to-day repairs and maintenance service.

The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance service. Youll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out property inspections and diagnosing building defects
- Managing day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance works
- Preparing specifications of work and overseeing contractors on site
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and relevant regulations
- Supporting customer-focused service delivery, ensuring a positive tenant experience
- Working collaboratively with housing and maintenance teams
- Monitoring performance, quality, and value for money
About You

You will have:
- A recognised qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent
- Experience within social housing, repairs, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of building pathology and defect diagnosis
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing works
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
