Blaymires Recruitment is working with an established and well-respected multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy based in Bromley, who are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Building Surveyor who is looking to step up in responsibility, project size and client exposure within a supportive consultancy environment.
The role would suit a Building Surveyor currently operating at mid-level, or a confident Assistant Building Surveyor ready to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a full range of building surveying services across public and private sector projects
Undertake condition surveys, defects analysis, dilapidations and technical reports
Assist with and manage contract administration and project delivery
Support senior team members on larger and more complex projects, while managing your own workload
Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully
Contribute to the continued development of client relationships and internal processes
About You
Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
25+ years experience within a consultancy or similar professional environment
Working towards MRICS or keen to begin/continue the pathway
Confident, professional and comfortable in a client-facing role
Motivated to take on greater responsibility and autonomy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
