Are you a qualified Building Surveyor looking to make a real difference within a close-knit housing organisation? We’re working with a small, community-focused housing provider seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to support their day-to-day repairs and maintenance service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team environment where your expertise will directly impact tenants’ homes and overall service delivery, with the potential to secure a permanent role.

The Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance service. You’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and residents to ensure works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

* Carrying out property inspections and diagnosing building defects

* Managing day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance works

* Preparing specifications of work and overseeing contractors on site

* Ensuring compliance with health and safety and relevant regulations

* Supporting customer-focused service delivery, ensuring a positive tenant experience

* Working collaboratively with housing and maintenance teams

* Monitoring performance, quality, and value for money

About You

We’re looking for someone who is technically strong but equally passionate about delivering excellent customer service. xbpsjku

You will have:

* A recognised qualification in Building Surveying or equivalent

* Experience within social housing, repairs, and maintenance

* Strong knowledge of building pathology and defect diagnosis

* Experience managing contractors and overseeing works

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
