Bids Manager role in one of the world’s leading law firms working on strategic bids for the EMEA region – up to £75,000, London

This major global law firm is recruiting a Bids Manager to join its busy central bids team, working across its seven industry sectors. This is a highly regarded function with an excellent win rate, handling the firm’s most important strategic bids, proposals, and RFPs, as well as developing bid best practices.

The role encompasses the entire bid cycle, including:

  1. Leading qualification and compliance processes;
  2. Facilitating scoping and kick-off meetings;
  3. Providing coaching and guidance to fee earners on client engagement throughout the bid cycle;
  4. Developing and implementing win strategies, ensuring responses are client-focused, and challenging fee earner thinking;
  5. Conducting dress rehearsals, presentation coaching, and bid feedback;
  6. Promoting and implementing bid best practices;
  7. Reporting on bids and maintaining bid management systems.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a bids function within a professional services or corporate B2B environment, either as a Bids Manager or a senior executive. Excellent project management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the gravitas to influence and persuade partners are essential.
