This is a dynamic, high-visibility role where youll influence strategy, collaborate with experts across the business and create responses that stand out for clarity, confidence and quality.Your day could include:Taking full ownership of written bid responses interpreting client requirements, shaping solution structure and producing persuasive, well-crafted contentFacilitating storyboarding and planning sessions to agree win themes, narrative flow and key messagingAsking insightful questions to challenge assumptions, strengthen solutions and ensure our proposition is fully aligned to client needsCollaborating closely with engineers, operational leads and senior stakeholders to bring together technical excellence, ESG commitments, social value and innovationSupporting the development of graphics, diagrams or visual layouts that help make complex ideas simple and engagingCapturing lessons learned, updating the content library and continuously improving templates, tools and bid processesIf you enjoy connecting people, ideas and strategy and turning all of that into bid responses that make an impact this is the role for you.What youll bringWere looking for someone who combines strong writing ability with strategic thinking and the confidence to influence others:A minimum of 5 years experience delivering major tenders or frameworks within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExceptional writing skills able to simplify complexity, structure compelling narratives and adapt tone to client expectationsStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate workshops and influence thinking at all levelsA strategic mindset someone who doesnt just write what theyre given, but shapes solutions, challenges assumptions and adds valueHigh attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyAdvanced MS Word and strong MS Office skills; design or layout experience (InDesign or similar) is a bonusAPMP certification (Foundation or Practitioner) preferred, or a willingness to work towards itThe ability to travel for workshops, interviews or stakeholder engagement sessions when requiredA proactive attitude, resilience under pressure and a genuine enjoyment of collaboration and continuous improvementWhats in it for you?We offer a range of benefits designed to support your life in and out of work, some of which include; Matched or contributory pension scheme Online GP service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year Employee assistance programme My Rewards portal, access to 1000s of retail discounts Life assurance Cycle to work, salary finance and give as you earn schemes Enhanced maternity, paternity leave and adoption leave Reward and recognition schemeIn addition, this role offers; 25 days plus bank holidayAbout usWe want to be an employer of choice and a great place to work, attracting diverse and talented people, who join us and make a difference.
