Bid Writer – 6-Month FTC Northampton Hours – 42.5 Monday – Friday Salary – very competitive

We're seeking an experienced, proactive Bid Writer to join our client on a 6-month fixed-term contract to take ownership of their tendering and bid-writing function, provide expert guidance, and lay a robust foundation for future growth. This is a standalone role, ideally suited to someone who can hit the ground running, take the lead on bid strategy, and work cross-functionally to review and improve their documentation, policies, and accreditations. If successful, this could evolve into a longer-term or permanent position depending on contract wins and commercial growth. Duties

Leading bid writing and tender submissions across Drainage, Civils, Roofing, and Construction sectors Reviewing and improving all existing bid documentation and templates Conducting a gap analysis on current processes and aligning them with industry best practices Managing policy, compliance and accreditation reviews (e.g. CHAS, Constructionline, ISO, SSIP Supporting the business in identifying suitable tender opportunities and building structured, winning responses Providing strategic input and guidance on best practice for future tendersThe Candidate
