Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker (Year 2 Pupil) Location: Wakefield/Leeds area Hours: Afternoons only, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil in a primary school setting. This role is ideal for someone with patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support during afternoon sessions Implement behaviour strategies and support plans Build a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to support progress Promote a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with children, ideally with behavioural or additional needs Calm, patient, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
