What We're Looking For: This isn't a 'safe' buying role. This is for a savvy, commercially driven, get-it-done Buyer who wants to build something brilliant. Experience in Buying or Category Management (beauty is ideal, but not essential) A deep passion for beauty, cosmetics, trends and consumer behaviour Strong commercial instinct! you get what sells and why Confidence to make decisions and own your numbers Experience working closely with Merchandising and cross-functional teams Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action Organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment The Role: We're looking for a commercially sharp, trend-obsessed Buyer / Category Manager to take ownership of a fast-growing beauty brand all of their categories. You won't be formulating products or designing packaging as their expert NPD team has that covered. Instead, your superpower & focus is all about turning great products into commercial success. You'll sit at the heart of it all, working hand-in-hand with product developers to shape a balanced, high-performing range. As the Buyer, you will: Build and evolve beauty ranges that delivers on both hype and profitability Create the perfect mix of hero products, newness and innovation Work closely with NPD to shape commercially viable, winning products Build smart pricing architectures that maximise margin while staying competitive Constantly scan the market for trends and competitor movements Partner with Merchandising to forecast, plan and optimise stock across retail, ecom and wholesale Confidently trade your categories; spotting risks, chase winners, cancel underperformers Make informed, data-led decisions using history, trend, demand and gut instinct Manage stock flow like a pro; phasing, scaling, protecting margin at every step Balance the needs of direct channels and key wholesale partnersBuild strong supplier relationships and negotiate like a pro Own all costs, margins, pricing, capacity plans, lead-times, and promotional strategy Ensure launches land on time, on brand, and ready to sell BH35887
