As a Battery Test Automation Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic environment where your skills will directly contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge High Voltage (HV) Traction Battery Systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry while gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and forward-thinking setting.
What You Will Do:
Develop and manage automation tools to support the design verification of HV Traction Battery Systems.
Provide first-line troubleshooting and diagnostic support for battery test automation tools.
Collaborate with internal teams and external test houses to ensure seamless integration and tool utilisation.
Analyse and address issues across the battery test field to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures while planning for future test capabilities.
Work closely with engineering teams, test facility operators, and external organisations to deliver optimal results.
What You Will Bring:
Proficiency in programming such as CAPL, Python, and C++.
Expertise in CAN/FlexRay/LIN/Ethernet communication protocols, including tools like CANoe and CANalyzer.
Strong experience with data analysis tools like AVL Concerto, Tableau, and Minitab.
Comprehensive understanding of High Voltage powertrain systems and HV Battery technologies.
A structured problem-solving approach and a strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
A full UK driving license with less than 6 penalty points, no disqualifications.
