You will have overall responsibility for the financial effectiveness of the organisation, ensuring operations and infrastructure functions are robust, efficient and able to support the continued development of the college, aligned to the needs of the communities and employers across the southwest region.Reporting to the Principal & Chief Executive, you will lead the finance function, ensuring the organisation's financial integrity through enhanced business planning, forecasting, financial control, and reporting. You will provide day-to-day line management for the finance department, with a keen focus on capital expenditure, risk management and compliance, and the analysis of key management information to shape and inform performance.You will be a qualified, commercially orientated finance professional with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a further education context. With strong technical expertise, you will have excellent analytical and planning skills and be fully conversant with complex revenue streams and capital investment initiatives.
