JobSummary
TheDomesticAssistantisresponsiblefordeliveringahighstandardofcleaningandhygieneacrosshospitalwards,clinicalareas,andnon-clinicaldepartments.Therolesupportsinfectionpreventionandensuresasafe,clean,andwelcomingenvironmentforpatients,staff,andvisitors.
ThepostholderwillfollownationalNHScleaningstandardsandtrustpoliciestomaintainhygieneandcleanlinessthroughoutthefacility.
KeyDutiesandResponsibilities
CleaningandHygiene
Carryoutroutineanddeepcleaningdutiesacrosswards,departments,offices,corridors,andpublicareas.
Cleanpatientareasincludingbedspaces,bathrooms,andclinicalroomsfollowinginfectionpreventionguidelines.
Dust,mop,vacuum,anddisinfectsurfacesandfloorsaccordingtocleaningschedules.
Cleanandsanitisetouchpointssuchasdoorhandles,switches,andhandrails.
Ensurewasteisdisposedofcorrectlyinlinewithhospitalpolicies.
