Were looking for an Automation Software Engineer to provide remote technical support for legacy control systems used by global engineering / manufacturing customers. Youll diagnose EC&I and software faults, advise on upgrades, and support a small automation team delivering high-quality customer solutions.

Essential Requirements / Experience:
Strong EC&I and controls background PLC programming: Siemens TIA Portal & Step 7, Allen Bradley ControlLogix HMI experience (TIA / WinCC Flexible) Skilled in troubleshooting PLC, HMI, SCADA, and PC-based systems Customer-facing communication skills HNC/D + 5+ years experience

Salary and Benefits:
£52,000
£59,500 25 days holiday + bank holidays 5% employer pension, income protection, death in service Optional private healthcare Office-based (hybrid considered)

Remote fault-finding across electrical, controls, and software issues PLC/HMI/SCADA troubleshooting and support Provide upgrade advice and technical quotations Improve customer experience and system reliability Work within ISO 9001 standards
