Audit Manager required for a Top 50 Accountancy firm in Manchester Your new company A rapidly expanding firm sitting within the Top 50 rankings have grown through both organic growth and acquisition over recent years and is looking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Audit Manager to complement the management team in place, but to continue to add value to an already successful Audit team. Your new role You will join an already-established audit team, as well as a team of juniors and part-qualified auditors who will look to you to lead them in Audit engagements. You will be responsible for overseeing entire audit engagements for some large and interesting businesses, planning the project and also delegating work to the rest of the team. You will ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest standard, alongside playing an active role in the development of junior staff within the team. What you'll need to succeed The firm is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong knowledge and experience in external audits. You will be a seasoned manager, having had experience of managing both a client portfolio and staff. You should also be personable and confident, and able to develop strong professional relationships.
