About Lendable
Lendable is on a mission to make consumer finance amazing: faster, cheaper, and friendlier. We're building one of the world's leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
- One of the UK's newest unicorns with a team of just over 600 people
- Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
- Profitable since 2017
- Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
- Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)
So far, we've rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance . We get money into our customers' hands in minutes instead of days.
We're growing fast, and there's a lot more to do: we're going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.
Join us if you want to
About the role
We're looking for a strategic, data-driven Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our dynamic product team in one of Europe's only profitable Unicorns. You'll play a pivotal role in driving growth in Autolend - one of our fastest growing product lines. You'll be trying to find new customers, improving conversion and finding new ways to improve our product for both customers and brokers. If you thrive on solving complex problems, scaling impactful products, and driving innovation , we'd love to hear from you.
APM's at Lendable take day to day ownership of their product and work closely with teams such as Engineering, Credit, Growth and Operations to take the business to the next level. It's your job to break down complex tasks into bite sized deliverables and prioritise projects according to their maximum impact. You'll be comfortable getting into the details but also looking at the big picture and helping Lendable grow. You'll also enjoy going out and speaking to our car finance brokers and converting any pain points into solutions.
We're looking for APMs who are curious, proactive, and excited to learn fast. You don't need to come with years of experience - we care more about your mindset, raw product thinking, and ability to grow. Previous APMs have gone on to Senior and Head of Product roles at Lendable. You'll be working alongside another Product Manager in the team and supported by experienced PMs across Lendable to grow your skills.
What we're looking for
- A bias for action - you move fast, get things done, and iterate quickly based on feedback
- You're excited to build innovative customer first products that have measurable impact
- You want to work in an environment where ownership is rewarded with opportunity - you want to get stuff done and will figure out how to do it
- Experience:
- 2+ years of work experience in an analytical role within Tech, Finance, Management Consulting or similar roles preferred
- Bonus: Experience working in start-up/scale-up environment preferred but not required
- Bonus: Experience in credit cards, lending, payments or fintech is a bonus but not a requirement
What you'll be doing
- Owning and driving the strategy, execution, and growth of our Autolend origination funnel
- Working with third parties such as brokers and dealers to ensure that the product is best-in-market for the businesses that we work with
- Contributing to the product roadmap and overseeing delivery with an industry leading Engineering Team
- Collaborating with other teams across the business, including other Product Managers, Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Finance and Operations
- Champion data-driven decision-making bydesigning hypothesis driven tests, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly based on learnings
- Navigating a fast-paced, evolving fintech landscape, balancing innovation with compliance and risk management
- Partnering with design to ensure our customers' needs are always at the heart of what we're building
How you will contribute to the Product Team's objectives:
- Autonomy; you are comfortable independently managing a product line, being accountable for delivery and customer impacts. You can confidently run standups and planning sessions with the engineering team, and proactively identify and resolve any issues limiting product development.
- Problem solving; you can break down complex business problems into bite sized chunks.
- Analysis; you have experience with numerical analysis - at least excel, ideally some SQL. We will teach you the tools, but you need to feel very comfortable with numbers. You have used data to drive real-world actions.
- Communication and leadership skills; you can communicate clearly and succinctly, orally and in writing. You effortlessly adjust your communication to suit your audience, from business owners to engineers. You don't have a massive ego and you are happy to change your mind when presented with a good argument.
- Collaboration; you establish close relationships with key stakeholders across a wide variety of different business areas, allowing you to collaborate effectively for product delivery.
- Working at speed; you make things happen. You are not afraidto roll up your sleeves and take responsibility for implementation and design decisions. You work at speed and enjoy a healthy dose of pressure.
- Process management; you've developed a solid understanding of the software development life cycle and how Product can support each stage.
- Agility; not just Agile (Scrum or Kanban would be nice) but adaptability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment.
Why Join Us?
- Work on high-impact products that redefine financial access and empower customers.
- Join a top-tier team with a track record of building category-defining fintech solutions.
- A culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning

- Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office every Tuesday-Thursday.
- We care for our Lendies' well-being both physically and mentally, so we offer coverage when it comes to private health insurance
- We're an equal-opportunity employer and are looking to make Lendable the most inclusive and open workspace in London
