PRINCIPAL & ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS\n (Planning & LVIA Bias – Multiple Roles)\n\nSalary Bandings:\n Principal: £50,000 – £60,000\n Associate Director: £60,000 – £70,000 + £5,000 car allowance\n\nLocations:\n Nationwide – Hybrid working with site visits\n Office hubs considered: Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London & Croydon\n\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\n\nWe are partnering with a nationally recognised, multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit several Principal and Associate Director Landscape Architects with a strong planning and assessment focus.\n\nWith offices across the UK and Ireland, the practice is delivering a diverse pipeline of projects ranging from local development schemes to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team delivering landscape-led solutions on complex and high-profile schemes.\n\nIf you are experienced in LVIA / TVIA, passionate about planning, and looking to progress within a respected consultancy environment, we would like to hear from you.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n • Lead and support landscape planning projects, including LVIA, TVIA and Environmental Impact Assessments\n • Undertake site surveys and field analysis to inform robust technical assessments\n • Produce high-quality reports and supporting technical documentation\n • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders\n • Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging technical excellence\n • Manage project budgets, programmes and deliverables\n • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve environmental, social and design outcomes\n • Associate Director roles will also contribute to business development, bids and tenders\n\nEXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED\n\n• Strong experience in landscape planning with a focus on LVIA / TVIA\n • Excellent understanding of the UK planning system\n • Strong report-writing and analytical skills\n • Proficiency in Microsoft Office\n • AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite \n • GIS, Revit and ProjectWise advantageous\n • Full UK driving licence essential for site-based work\n • UK project experience required\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n • Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI)\n • Landscape Institute–accredited Bachelor’s, Diploma or Master’s degree\n\nWHAT’S ON OFFER\n\n• Hybrid working with genuine trust, autonomy and flexibility\n • Opportunity to join a team currently in high demand\n • Exposure to major and international projects\n • Project sectors include infrastructure, energy transition, stadiums, defence, healthcare, aviation and commercial development\n • Work alongside an experienced Landscape Architecture Lead and senior leadership team\n • Clear progression pathways with responsibility across technical delivery, leadership and client engagement\n\nHOW TO APPLY\n\nTo be considered, please email your CV and portfolio to:\n\nContact details for Sadie Nixon - & (phone number removed)\n\nAll enquiries will be treated in strict confidence
