Your mandate includes:\n\nLeadership & Management: Lead and inspire a talented team of Cost Managers.\nProject Oversight: Oversee comprehensive project delivery, acting as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and design colleagues.\nCommercial Acumen: Drive business development initiatives and strategic business planning to expand market share in the West Midlands.\nTechnical Excellence: Provide expert strategic cost advice, procurement strategy, and lead complex value engineering and risk workshops.\nContract Management: Execute Employer’s Agent and/or Contract Administration duties across diverse sectors, including residential, defence and transportation.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for an enthusiastic, high-performing senior individual capable of engaging with C-suite stakeholders and large technical teams.\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nFull professional membership of the RICS or CIOB (or 10+ years relevant experience).\nProven experience working on major projects (circa £50m+ values).\nExpertise in cost management across NEC3/4 and JCT contracts.\nProficiency in modern estimating software (e.g., CostX, integrating with Revit models).\nStrong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative ethos.\nA proven ability to deliver complex projects to strict deadlines.\nValid UK driving licence and willingness to undergo necessary security clearance (SC level) for defence sector projects upon appointment.\n\nRewards & Culture\n\nOur client believes their success is a direct result of their people’s expertise and dedication.
