Electrical Associate Director
to lead their Mechanical Arm in
North London . Responsibilities Lead Electrical Building Services Design Delivery Oversee the full electrical design scope including LV distribution, small power, lighting, emergency systems, containment and specialist pharma electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with GMP and project technical standards. Develop Electrical Design Concepts & Technical Specifications Produce and direct electrical design concepts, load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selections and detailed specifications aligned with regulatory, safety and pharmaceutical facility requirements. Review, Approve & Assure Electrical Design Outputs Conduct senior-level technical reviews of drawings, schematics, electrical models and consultant deliverables, ensuring accuracy, design coherence and adherence to the projects electrical strategy. Manage Electrical Interfaces with Process & Critical Systems Coordinate electrical design integration with process equipment, cleanroom systems, controls/BMS, and critical utilities to ensure resilient, contamination-controlled and compliant electrical infrastructure. Drive Electrical Compliance, Risk Management & Change Control Lead electrical-specific risk assessments, ensure compliance with UK regulations (BS 7671, HTM, pharma standards), and manage change control processes for all electrical design modifications and technical deviations. Requirements Successful candidate must be both Degree Qualified and Chartered Must have 8+ years experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (Preferably Pharmaceutical) Must be based within a commutable distance of North London Benefits £95,000 - £100,000 + Benefits
