Job DescriptionAssociate Civil EngineerCardiff£60,000 - £70,000 105284 We are working in partnership with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Civil Engineer to join their growing Cardiff office. This is a senior leadership role within the civil engineering team, ideally suited to an experienced engineer with strong technical expertise in civil infrastructure, drainage and SuDS design, including proven SAB approval experience. The successful candidate will bring 8+ years’ industry experience and a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow, along with a solid track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors.Project sectors include:
Residential developments Commercial schemes Sports and leisure facilities Industrial developments New-build infrastructure projects
The consultancy has been a major presence in the Welsh engineering market for more than 20 years, delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering solutions across the region. Their workload is varied, technically interesting and often unique – from traditional civil engineering schemes to standout projects such as drainage design for a driving range constructed within a cave and major earthworks packages for high-profile venues including the Principality Stadium.The Role As Associate Civil Engineer, you will play a key leadership role within the team, taking ownership of projects while working closely with senior management. You will also be responsible for:
Leading project delivery across multiple schemes Mentoring and developing graduate engineers and technicians Providing technical leadership and design oversight Supporting team growth and contributing to business development
