Assistant Site Manager – Social Housing Voids (5-Year Framework) Southwark, London Competitive Salary + Package
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a growing, medium-sized contractor delivering a long-term 5-year voids contract in Southwark.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured work, offering stability, progression, and the chance to play a key role in a high-volume social housing programme.
The Role: You will support the Senior Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of void properties, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple units at various stages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing subcontractors and direct labour on voids properties
* Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
* Support with health & safety compliance and site documentation
* Carry out site inspections and snagging
* Liaise with residents, clients, and internal teams
* Monitor progress and report into senior site management
Requirements:
* Previous experience within social housing, voids, or refurbishment projects
* Experience in a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple properties/projects simultaneously
* SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
