We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Assistant Site Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy fertiliser production site in Newport. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is ready to take ownership of both people and processes. Role Overview: You will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee production, logistics, and team coordination. From managing bagging operations and forklift activity to ensuring smooth lorry loading and dispatch, you’ll be involved in every aspect of the site’s performance. This is not a desk job — we are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. A critical part of this role is ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. You’ll be responsible for promoting a safety-first culture, conducting regular checks, and ensuring all site activities meet legal and operational requirements.
