Assistant Site Manager - Social Housing Location: Across the M65 East Lancs Corridor (Burnley, Accrington, Colne, Rossendale, Preston) Rate: £200-£220 per day (Umbrella CIS) A position is available for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a social housing refurbishment programme across multiple sites along the M65 corridor. The role involves coordinating daily site activities and ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery of works. Key Responsibilities: Support the Site Manager with day-to-day coordination and programme delivery Manage trades on site and monitor progress across multiple live properties Ensure all activities are carried out in line with H&S regulations and site procedures Conduct basic quality checks, record snagging and support sign-off processes Liaise with tenants to minimise disruption during refurbishment works Assist with materials control, site documentation and permit management Carry out scaffold inspections and contribute to site safety briefings Requirements: Full UK driving licence Scaffold Inspection certificate CSCS card First Aid SMSTC Fire Marshall Asbestos Awareness Experience supporting similar social housing or occupied refurbishment projects
