Assistant Site Manager A great opportunity has come up for an Assistant Site Manager to join a well-known PLC housebuilder on a large, multi-phased residential development near Chichester. You'll be joining an award-winning regional team working on a significant development delivering traditional build homes in a busy, fast-moving environment. There will be clear opportunities to progress your career towards Site Manager level. In this role you'll be working closely with both the Senior Site Manager and the Contract Manager, supporting them with the day-to-day running of the site and helping ensure the development runs smoothly, safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Senior Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the site Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades Making sure work is completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards Carrying out site inspections and quality checks, including NHBC stage inspections Monitoring progress across traditional build and timber frame plots Assisting with site logistics, deliveries and programme coordination Maintaining a high standard of site presentation and housekeeping Working closely with the wider construction and technical teams to keep things moving Requirements Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within a volume housebuilding environment Experience with traditional build and/or timber frame housing Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced construction environment Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid What's on Offer Salary up to £56,000 Car allowance bonus Structured personal development plans Genuine career progression opportunities The chance to be part of an award-winning regional team delivering a major development This role would suit an Assistant Site Manager who's looking to take the next step in their career and develop within a respected PLC developer that values progression from within.
