We are now seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our passionate team and play a key role in maintaining GAIAs world-class standards while supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
The Role
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager, AGM, and GM to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional guest experience. You'll support staff development, maintain service excellence, and uphold our high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a hands-on leader who thrives on delivering memorable moments for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
Oversee daily walk-arounds and ensure all areas meet GAIAs standards
Conduct daily briefings and support FOH training and knowledge checks
Monitor team grooming, attendance, and performance
Lead guest seating and service execution when needed
Follow up on guest feedback and escalate complaints
Ensure mise en place, cleanliness, and maintenance logs are up to date
Write and submit daily operational reports
Weekly
Review stock levels of FOH items and liaise with the office coordinator
Track training progress and assist with Micros updates
Prepare content for weekly management meetings
Monthly
Design and administer FOH knowledge tests
Update training packs and monitor ongoing development
Submit monthly cash tips reports
Share performance and training updates with senior leadership
About You
