A unique opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established M&E contractor delivering complex big ticket projects across the UK.

This role is well suited to an individual with early-stage project management or site-based experience who is keen to accelerate their progression into a full Project Manager position.

Working closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of multiple projects.

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team that offers genuine long-term career development and a clearly defined progression pathway.

Youll do all of this whilst gaining valuable niche M&E expertise which will propel your earnings ahead of other construction / Civils peers.

Role Overview Support the planning, organisation, and delivery of M&E projects from inception to completion Assist with project programmes, documentation, procurement, and progress reporting Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication Support the preparation of RAMS, variations, project costings, and tender documentation. CDM experience is a plus. Attend site visits, carry out inspections, and assist with the management of subcontractors and site supervisors Help manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring quality, programme, and budget targets are met Assist in resolving site-based issues and promote a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Candidate Requirements Experience in a construction or project coordination role (e.g. Assistant Project Manager, Trainee PM, Site Supervisor, Technical Coordinator) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with site teams and stakeholders Full UK driving licence

this role will involve a lot of travel and face time on site. Strong ambition to progress into a Project Manager role

Salary & Benefits £30,000
