Assistant Manager - Main responsibility and duties: Customers Ensure the customers experience is one to remember Provide a professional & efficient standard of service Maintain a high profile during service whilst being polite and helpful Promote and establish a regular customer base, remember their likes and dislikes Smile and maintain eye contact with customers Provide prompt, unobtrusive, attentive service

the customer always comes first Maintenance of tables to ensure the highest standard of hospitality Maintain high standards of personal appearance, always wearing the full, correct, clean, uniform & maintain a high standard of personal hygiene Operations Ensure staffing levels are correct. Liaise with line manager to ensure adequate staffing for private functions & larger parties. Adhere to agreed break times, do not exceed requirements without prior consultation Ensure staff are fully trained with opening, during & closing procedures Ensure staff are updated daily with requirements & provide suitable instruction Ensure all Mise En Place requirements have been met prior to service Ensure the working environment remains clean & tidy & cleaning schedules adhered to at all times.
