Assistant Headteacher - SEN School
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Assistant Headteacher to join a specialist SEN school based in Croydon. This is a key leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking environment dedicated to improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs.
You will play a vital role in supporting the strategic direction of the school, leading on teaching and learning, and ensuring high standards of behaviour and engagement across the setting. The successful Assistant Headteacher will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive improvement and maintain a positive, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership of the school
Lead on teaching, learning, and curriculum development
Drive behaviour strategies and support staff in managing SEMH needs
Contribute to whole-school improvement planning
Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous education and training
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Proven leadership experience within a SEN or similar setting
Strong understanding of SEMH and additional needs
A commitment to inclusive practice and high standards
The ability to inspire and lead staff effectively
