ASSISTANT BUYER

SHELF, HALIFAX/BRADFORD

PERMANENT - FROM DAY ONE

SALARY UP TO £30k

Our client is a Yorkshire based manufacturer where all the design and manufacturing is all completed in the one location.

Due to continued growth and expansion they require an assistant buyer to join their existing small team.

This is a key position, where you as the assistant buyer can learn off the existing team and at the same time help drive the business and make the position your own.

This assistant buyer role is varied, detailed and integral to the success of the company, and will involve....

* Impeccable communication skills

* Able to work on own and within a team

* Able to prioritize / manage time

* Work with sage 50/200/construct or similar

* Proficient with office

* Fluent (speaking & writing) in English

* Co-ordinate with customers (internal & external)

* Stock monitoring/forecast

* Supplier evaluations

* Negotiations

Your hours will be....

8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

8am to 2.30pm Friday - yes, early Friday finish.

You'll already have a back ground in a manufacturing company and dealing with raw materials, collating certificates etc,etc.
