I am delighted to be partnering with a consultancy business based in London City (Hybrid) are on their search for an Assistant Accountant. This is a newly created role due to recently acquiring new funding and supporting strategic growth plans. This role will work alongside the Financial Controller and support the wider finance team.

  • Lead the end-to-end management of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and allocation
  • \n\t
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed general ledger analysis
  • \n\t
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders on financial queries and reporting matters
  • \n\t
  • Review and analyse expense invoices for accuracy, compliance, and policy adherence
  • \n\t
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
  • \n\t
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting tools
  • \n

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role where you will have exposure to Management Accounts and can progress your career with a growing company while continuing your professional studies. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientated and proactive with 1-2 years' experience in an accounting role. Previous experience within a similar role within an SME consultancy business is highly advantageous.
