Recently refurbished, modern manufacturing and office facilities. Up to £14ph per hour plus paid overtime, roles are offered on an initial 12-week temporary to permanent contract basis. Do you have a passion for cars and want to be trained to be able to assemble gearboxes and engines for several leading vehicle manufacturers? This Assembly Technician job will involve: Disassembly of automotive gearboxes and engines following instructions using tooling and training. Inspection of a wide range of engine and transmission components. Evaluation of parts against set criteria and drawings. Measurement of features against drawings using various measuring tools. Assembly of engines and transmissions on a production line. Testing of engines and transmissions. This Assembly Technician job will suit: Previous experience in a similar position is not essential as training will be given, but any experience of working within an engineering, manufacturing or automotive / vehicle workshop environment would be beneficial. Above all we are looking for candidates who are reliable & enthusiastic about working within a growing business working on projects with some of the leading manufacturers in the automotive industry.
