As an Assembly Operative, youll be a vital part of the dedicated production team, meticulously crafting and assembling a variety of products to exacting quality standards.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
What will I be paid? Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour.
What hours will I be working? Monday to Friday
06:00 to 14:20
What will I be doing as an Assembly Operative? Assembling metal components to precise specifications Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and instructions Utilising a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment Collaborating with departments such as stores and dispatch to ensure smooth operations Working independently across various production areas to meet daily or weekly schedules Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
What skills and experience do I need? Competent English and numeracy skills Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment Strong organisational and time management abilities Ability to prioritise tasks effectively Experience in assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical/electronic parts (desirable) Manufacturing background (preferred) Reliable transport to reach site
