We are seeking a dedicated and creative Art / Design Technology Technician to join a network of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Lewisham. This is a full-time position (5 days per week), ideal for someone passionate about supporting creativity, practical learning, and student achievement.

The Role

As an Art / DT Technician, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the Art and Design Technology departments, ensuring lessons are safe, well-resourced, and inspiring. You will work closely with teaching staff to support practical lessons and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing, maintaining, and organising materials, tools, and equipment for Art and DT lessons

Supporting teachers during practical sessions where required

Ensuring health and safety standards are met within workshops and studios

Managing stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment

Supporting students to engage confidently and safely with creative and technical activities
