We are seeking an experienced

Area Sales Manager

to join a leading

material handling solutions provider , specialising in

forklifts and warehouse trucks . This is a high-profile, B2B sales role offering a competitive salary, commission, and career progression within a market-leading organisation. You will be responsible for

selling and promoting the full product range

of material handling equipment across your local sales territory while delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse range of industries. Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management:

Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers, understanding their current and future equipment requirements

New Business Development:

Identify and develop target accounts, converting prospects into loyal customers

Site Surveys & Specification:

Conduct detailed site visits to assess requirements and recommend the most suitable equipment solutions

Proposal & Presentation:

Prepare comprehensive proposals and present solutions professionally to decision-makers

Sales Administration:

Manage all aspects of truck order administration and maintain accurate records within the CRM system

Customer Service:

Ensure a high standard of service and support throughout the sales process

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a

self-motivated, commercially aware sales professional

with a strong track record in

field-based B2B sales , ideally within

material handling, industrial equipment, or capital goods sectors . Key skills and experience include: Proven success in

sales of forklifts, warehouse trucks, or MHE solutions

Excellent

commercial awareness

and understanding of business priorities

Professional communication and

presentation skills

with attention to detail

Strong

negotiation skills

and the ability to build compelling business cases

Effective

planning, organisation, and territory management

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Full UK driving licence
