As an Area Sales Executive within our SME Sales Team, your primary purpose is to drive new business growth across a defined geographical area. You will generate your own leads, build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline, and convert high‑quality prospects into trading clients. This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and hungry to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.What You’ll DoYou will manage the full end‑to‑end sales process — from identifying new business opportunities to onboarding clients and ensuring a successful handover. Working closely with internal stakeholders and operational colleagues, you’ll support the smooth integration of new clients and ensure performance meets expectations within the first six weeks of trading.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop a high‑quality personal prospect pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and volume targets.Achieve all assigned KPIs and productivity targets.Record all sales activity and manage the sales process using the EVRi CRM system.Onboard new clients on time and ensure they fully understand all EVRi customer service processes and self‑serve tools.Monitor new client performance and ensure they trade to expected profile within four weeks of go‑live.Complete client handover within six weeks of trading.Resolve escalations and account queries promptly and thoroughly.Collaborate with the operations team to support seamless onboarding and service quality.What We’re Looking ForExperience within a solid Sales background e.g. B2B sales, Telesales, Field Sales, Recruitment Agency experience.General understanding of e‑commerce and online marketplace selling.Strong problem‑solving ability, including negotiation and conflict resolution.Able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good IT literacy including Microsoft Office.Highly organised, proactive, energetic and motivated to succeed.Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.Confident in constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.Preferred: 1-4 year of commercial experience within the parcel delivery sector.What We Can Offer YouAt least 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) – Pro rataCareer progression opportunities.Flexible, inclusive benefits including shopping vouchers, insurance and healthcare.A culture where people are encouraged, supported and valued.We Are Evri — Where Everyone Is WelcomeWe’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every colleague can be themselves and thrive.
