As Area Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across the region. You will ensure performance, safety, and service standards are consistently met, while supporting the needs of both our client and operational teams. Lead and manage regional operations across Clyde, Central and Ayr Champion a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture Ensure compliance with all safety standards, training, and reporting requirements Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and promote continuous improvement Support and develop teams through coaching, training, and performance management Foster an inclusive, engaged and high-performing team environment Work closely with Training Managers and Field Team Leaders to build capability Deliver against budgets and support financial performance Analyse data, monitor KPIs, and identify risks and opportunities Contribute to monthly P&L reviews and operational reporting

What you’ll need We are looking for a confident and motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can inspire teams to perform at their best. You will have:

Proven experience in people management and leadership Strong knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to influence, plan and drive performance improvements Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Confidence working with data and IT systems (Excel / Power BI desirable) A proactive, solution-focused approach Experience within leakage or utilities (beneficial but not essential)
