We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Analog Design Engineer to join our growing team in Edinburgh. You will work alongside a team of analog and mixed-signal designers to develop industry-leading mixed-signal SoCs for consumer markets as part of an organization at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Work within an experienced design team to develop high-performance mixed-signal products, with a focus on sensor interfaces, data converters, and signal-processing ICs, using power-efficient techniques in advanced process nodes.
Contribute to every phase of the design process, from specification and architecture to transistor-level design, simulation, modeling, layout supervision, verification, and final product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related discipline)
Solid understanding of analog circuit analysis and design techniques
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver
Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s, or PhD degree in electrical engineering
Hands-on design experience of analog building blocks such as reference generators, voltage regulators/converters, amplifiers, oscillators, ADC/DACs, and signal conditioning analog front ends
Discrete-time and continuous-time signal processing, sensor interfaces, and wearable health technologies
MOS and semiconductor device physics
Design for test (DFT) and manufacturability, reliability design guidelines, ESD protection, and latch-up testing
Board-level design considerations, including component selection, PCB layout, packaging technologies
High-volume manufacturing processes
This position is based in our Edinburgh, UK office.
It is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home, depending on business needs. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
