Airframe/Aerospace Fitter

Airframe Fitter required, to join a reputable engineering business in a friendly, fast paced and clean working environment. The business has a strong focus on developing it's people with the potential to further their career's.

You will be involved with the assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures. Youll perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards.

You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have the ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.

Essential Requirements:

Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.

Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience, preferably working within the aerospace industry

Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications.

Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes etc.

Trade test to be completed as a follow up / 2nd stage interview to demonstrate ability to carry out assembly processes to aerospace quality standards.

Salary is competitive and a generous holiday entitlement of 33 days plus bank holidays. 36 hour working week covered over 4 days working 7:00am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday. Along with :
