The ideal engineer will be confident diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air source heat pump systems from leading manufacturers.Responsibilities:Carry out fault-finding, repairs, and routine servicing of domestic ASHP systemsDiagnose and resolve performance issues efficiently and safelyComplete system checks, pressure tests, and commissioning tasks as requiredEnsure all work is completed to MCS and manufacturer standardsMaintain clear communication with office and clients on job progress and parts requirementsSubmit completed job reports and documentation promptlyRequirements:F-Gas Category 1 Certification (essential)Level 3 Award in Air Source Heat Pump Installation and Maintenance (or equivalent recognised qualification)Proven experience in ASHP service and repair (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung, etc.)Full UK driving licence and own van/toolsPublic Liability InsuranceStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipWhats on Offer:Consistent pipeline of workCompetitive daily rate (£380£390 DOE)Flexible subcontractor arrangement with weekly payOpportunity to work with a respected renewables contractor focused on quality and longevityIf youre an experienced ASHP Engineer looking for stable, well-paid subcontract work around Wigan, wed love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
