The Role:
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process for air imports, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience handling import customs entries and working within a UK freight forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing customs entries for incoming airfreight shipments
Liaising with HMRC, airlines, and ground handling agents
Ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations
Handling import documentation, such as AWBs and commercial invoices
Communicating with clients and internal departments to provide updates and resolve queries
Managing ETSF records and ensuring accurate job costing and invoicing
Requirements:
Previous experience working for a UK freight forwarder
is essential
You must have experience using ASM Sequoia to be considered for this role Strong knowledge of import customs clearance procedures
