Installation Air Conditioning Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Installation Air Conditioning Engineer. This is a mobile role covering Kent, London, and surrounding areas, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

We are looking for an experienced installation engineer with strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, capable of delivering high-quality installations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be reliable, well organised, and take pride in their workmanship while working as part of a supportive team.

Role & Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Installing air conditioning systems including Split, Multi-split, VRV/VRF systems, and FCUs

*

Carrying out full installations from first fix through to final commissioning

*

Installing pipework, containment, condensate drainage, and associated electrical connections (within competence)

*

Pressure testing, evacuating, charging, and commissioning systems

*

Ensuring all installations comply with F-Gas regulations, health & safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines

*

Working on both residential and commercial sites

*

Completing all installation, commissioning, and handover paperwork

*

Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

Be located within 15 miles of Dartford

*

Hold a full UK driving licence

*

Have significant industry experience installing air conditioning systems

*

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail

*

Be able to work independently and as part of a team

*

Show initiative, problem-solving ability, and a professional attitude on site

*

Be flexible, reliable, and trustworthy

Essential Qualifications

You must hold some of the following certifications:

*

Technical: F-Gas, Safe Handling, Electrical qualifications, City & Guilds or equivalent

*

Health & Safety: CSCS, PASMA, IPAF, or similar

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year (depending on experience)

Overtime: Evening and weekend overtime available

Location: Mobile role (office based Kent)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM
