CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established specialist , forward-thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotlands Central Belt. This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end-user clients, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air conditioning systems.
Salary & Package:
Salary up to £45,000 DOE Guaranteed additional earnings
approx. £600 per year from call-out 36-hour working week
reduced hours compared to the standard 40-hour week On-call rota: Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less) Call-out pay
£100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid per call-out Overtime - Saturday: Time and a half, Sunday: Double time No burnout culture

the business actively avoids unsustainable 50-hour weeks You will work directly with end-user clients across a range of sectors, including:
Hospitality Retail Pharmaceutical Commercial environments and specialist facilities Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North Key Responsibilities:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems Reactive maintenance and breakdown response Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair Striving for first-time fix wherever possible Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams Qualifications & Experience (Essential):
F-Gas Category 1 certification NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Strong PPM and fault-finding experience across commercial systems Full UK driving licence
