To support our transition and continuous improvement we have created an Agile Centre of Excellence and are seeking an experienced programme manager to support our Agile transformation.

This role is a unique opportunity to make lasting impact on Santander UK organisation and gain strong visibility among Santander Group leadership. Adoption of agile ways of working at scale is a proven approach to accelerate delivery of change and enable business success in large organisations that rely on talent, technology and data. In this role you will drive end-to-end radical agile transformation applying and adopting best practices of the group and the industry, you will interact on daily basis with senior leaders of all Divisions and most importantly you will contribute to higher job satisfaction of hundreds of colleagues and to improved experience of millions of our customers.

Role Purpose

The programme manager will lead the review, redesign, and implementation of simplified end to end change governance within our agile transformation programme. They will ensure governance frameworks enable empowered decision making, faster delivery, and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

This is a permanent role based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.

We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office.
